Title: Lynchburg, TN in June
Post by: Donster on March 19, 2011, 11:56:30 pm
Being that I'm a Tennessee Squire (Something like a Jack Daniels VIP), I usually go to Lynchburg on my birthday, which is June 26th.
This year I plan on going June 25th (Saturday) and coming back on the 26th. Anybody that would like to join my neighbor and me will have access to the Squire Lounge, other activities and distillery tour.
The downtown part of Lynchburg is also worth a visit, especially The JD Barrel Store. Of course everything is more or less centered around Jack Daniels in that town, which by the way is also in a dry county (Such irony  ;D)
If nobody from the club joins us, I'll be taking my SUV, as I plan on buying some JD Barrels to start building my bar at home.
If some club members do join and come along, I'll be taking my Fiero.

From Buford, it's about a 4 and a half hour drive (going down to 285 and then back up 75), so it's probably a bit less from ATL.

Anyone game?

Thanks Roger.

Hope the job situation chenges for you real soon! I can sympathize, as I was unemployed for over a year and know what a struggle it can be for you and yours.

We'll be going up there again for the BBQ World Championship later this year - maybe then? Who knows?

Hang in there!
