Title: gas tank!

does anyone happen to know the dimensions of the fiero gas tank ( height-width-length ) or the dimensions of the space that the gas tank fits in ( height-width-length ) .

Dewey, I just measured my spare tank.. It is 10" wide, 51" long, 11 1/2 " high.. Jerry

dEWEY, IT'S A TIGHT FIT ON THE WIDTH, THE HEIGHTH IS JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP THE TANK FLUSH WITH THE BOTTOM OF CAR, THE LENGTH IS LONGER THAN THE TANK

jerry can you tell how long does it stay 10 x 11-1/2 before it starts narrowing down?

Dewey, it stays 11" high for 20" from back going forward. it stays 10 1/2" wide for 13" going forward. the forward end is 5 1/2" wide.. I think i know what your doing but you don't have a lot of room..even though the tunnel is a lot longer on the forward end the tank mounts in one specific place and thats where the tank is 11 1/2" high.. at the back end you have maybe a couple inches max to play with.. nothing forward unless you want it draging the ground...
