After thinking I had the problem fixed....
It turns out I have a blown head gasket.
After checking websites.... rebuilt 4.9 engines are way to expensive.
So I figure I could get a long block and swap over everything else.
Does anybody have connections in getting long block engines?

Have you checked the obvious -- the Fiero Factory?

If you look in the Barrow Journal Legal section every Wednesday, there are cars being sold as abandoned vehicles by several storage lots around the area, and by the Sheriff's Department.

i have a 3.4 with low compression that don was going to junk. it needs to be machined and polished, you could bore it to a 3.6 or 3.8. i think he said it was out of a "95" camaro. it's yours if you come and get it. you will have to bring help if you want it. i can't do any heavy lifting. doctor says i have a spur on my left shoulder, and maybe a bad rotater-cuff. mri tuesday. if you want it send me a p.m. or you could buy my 88 gt with t-tops.
