Link deleted -- it's phishing.
-
Even though at the bottom it says Verified Secure, I don't see in the link that it's secure.
I wondered to myself: If I put in my information and clicked, would it soon be stolen?
-
lol, don't put in any info in and then hit summit
-
I hope nobody fell for that.

Ha, ha. Mama didn't raise no fool. Well, 'cept maybe one of my brothers.
Having just went through the theft of my checkbook last month and having to close out everything associated with it, I'm more cautious than I was before. We give out no information over the phone or internet unless we are the ones who initiate the contact or it's someone or a business well known to us.
Now, if you did click on it or submitted it as blank, delete the cookie it left on your computer.

I did like you suggested and submitted a blank form. On the new screen, I only read the first paragraph or two of the warning. Do you think they were getting any info from anyone that entered info into it? I was working on the site and I didn't see anyone else sign on to the forum, which they would have had to do to enter anything.

bottom of the page once "enter your info" says:
"You can learn more at the Anti-Phishing Working Group's website. Note: ismycreditcardstolen.com is not in any way affiliated with the Anti-Phishing Working Group. "
The APWG is a real security company the works on securing the internet. this was just an joking way to educate people.

A legitimate secure site will start with https, not just http at the beginning of the URL. But even then, don't enter info unless it's a site you know.
-
again, the propose of the site is to educate not to get your info. if you entered your info then you failed the test. they do not keep your stuff.

But since it's not secure, somebody else could.
