I have a fiero gt. Sold as is. It has a Corvette front and rear bumper on it and the tops been cut off. It drives and it did run when I park it a year ago. I'm asking $1000 or best offer.

Club Events / Kiokee Kruiser's Power Kruise April 14 9-2 FREE
« on: April 10, 2018, 07:57:10 am »

Not a Club event, but cool.  Last time my 30 year old car was one of the newest ones attending...

Starts at 0900 as a car show.
Ends at 1400 as a car show.
Somewhere in-between there's a "Power Kruise".

Located in Appling, GA at the intersection of Ray Owens Rd and White Oak Rd.

Take exit 183 on I-20 and head toward Appling on Appling-Harlem Road (We have clever names around here.  Guess where you wind up if you go the other direction.) for about 5 miles.
Appling-Harlem turns into Ray Owens after going through the Metropolis of Appling (Mentioned in the opening scenes of The Purge).
You'll pass a large Church on the left (Kiokee Baptist) and a few hundred yards later will arrive at the intersection with White Oak Rd (The flashing lights are a tip-off.  So are all the cars on the left)
Oh, you're there.

General Fiero Discussion / Vin Decoder question
« on: April 06, 2018, 01:15:04 pm »

Just used our better vin decoder, http://gafiero.org/vin.shtml, and came up with this:
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT

Engine: 2.8-liter V6
Body: fastback (GM body type 97)
Number 4920 of 26401 or 2 built in 1988

WHAT DOES 'or 2 built in 1988' mean?

Last weekend my wife and I used our Backroads Georgia book to explore the area from Greensboro to Washington, GA.  Here are a few Fierocentric photos.

The Market / Interior Armrests
« on: February 25, 2018, 03:40:03 pm »

Anyone out there make armrests with storage compartments?

I'm looking for a place to store glasses, GPS, phone, owners manual, etc and the armrest looks like it would be a great spot if it had a storage compartment.  Just needs a flip up lid.  Haven't measured, but the storage compartment could extend down 8"+ inches and provide lots of room.

If no one makes one, then how would someone go about creating something like this?

General Fiero Discussion / Spare Tires
« on: February 22, 2018, 07:53:03 pm »
Many Fiero-ites have increased the size of their wheels/tires.

Do you still have the original 14" or 15" spare up front, thinking that's better than nothing; or have you replaced it with a can of fix-a-flat?

Fix-a-flat makes it extremely difficult to get a good repair on a puncture.  I never have a tire plugged because the rasp that's used to clean the puncture can cut the steel cords.  I prefer to pay a little more and have the tire patched on the inside.

General Fiero Discussion / Original MSRP
« on: February 10, 2018, 09:44:27 pm »

Where can I find original MSRP values for Fieros?

Looking for '84 through '88 base and GT.

Not mine: https://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/d/57-ls1-engine-all-aluminum/6466323632.html

I have a 5.7 LS1 and t56 that was pulled from an 04 Pontiac GTO (So it has the LS6 block with the good style heads). It also has a Chevy performance aluminum intake.. as well as aftermarket intake pipe+filter ... Also have full engine harness and computer included. Only one plug was modified on the engine harness to make it a full standalone. Text me any questions you have and I will do my best to answer. Thanks for looking.

I also have new exhaust gaskets and new valley cover gasket, new intake gasket specifically for this intake.

General Discussion / 4 cylinder V6
« on: January 30, 2018, 10:37:44 am »
Last night I read an Eric Peters Autos (https://www.ericpetersautos.com/) review of the 2018 4 cylinder turbo Camaro.  275 HP, Massive torque.  OK review. https://www.ericpetersautos.com/2018/01/24/2018-chevy-camaro-turbo/

So I thought, let's check C-list for one.  Maybe find a wrecked rear end and a potential engine swap.  That's where I found a 4 cylinder V6 for sale.  https://augusta..craigslist.org/cto/d/2015-chevrolet-camaro-v6/6432079803.html

Here's the ad since I'm sure this rare car will go fast:
This Camaro is has a 4-cylinder, V6 engine. Mileage is 31,000.
Kelley Blue Book has the max price at $20,925 but I am asking
$19,500 OBO. Please feel free to contact me about any questions
or offers, regardless of the time! I would prefer it to be by text
message unless it's a longer question.

There's always someone smarter.  But now we know there's always someone... else.
