In 2 day's time it tripled in size in those pics.   How close is it and how close is it supposed to get.

there's exceptions o the rule and again I have been at this for only a year or so.
around 96 down chevy got the same heads on the 3.4 fwd engine as the 2.8's wether fwd or rwd.
FWD cars from 3100 on got aluminum heads. block diff is starter location. I think if it's a xx00 liters number it has aluminun heads and if x.x /liters it has iron.
around 2000 or just before they made a better head that is what I am after but just after that they used VVT and we don't want those

well maybe put the heads on the 3.4. i think they are better than the 3.1 heads on it now. if they are the same then cheap spares. raydar, would you have time to check out my car i am chasing a very high Idle and the combo of parts isn't normal so no one will take the time.  IT IS JUST VOLTAGE NUMBERS they eather read right or not, I just am not sure what right is or how to get it there.

like I said the model of car was painted on the ECM case ,
there are some cars that had a 3.4 and a 3800 offered in the same Line a 60 and a 90 deg. so I could be wrong.
insert the same cars also may have 2.8 and 3.1 engines .but they are 60 degree engines. so Mike if you get a minite it can be seen through the driver window.

What I think I saw was a 3.4 v6 ecm.  I think it was for a 60 deg. not a 90 deg engine. car type is painted on the ecm though.
