General Discussion / Re: 1984 indy
« on: May 11, 2017, 09:56:04 pm »
To restore an Indy with Non original parts would be most acceptable as long as they were OEM like parts, To Clone would just be a clone. If it was one like Tha Drivers car it would be very worthwhile and then the other 1950 + It would Still be 1 of 2000 and worthy, If I had a place and cash I'd do it, Falls in that Snooty realm of values though. Like I said I maintain a Bunch of Cars And they are Factory Original But not all Have the parts they left the dealer with, but do have factory correct parts. It should be Saved

General Fiero Discussion / Re: Ground straps
« on: May 11, 2017, 09:41:25 pm »
I myself use a ridicules number of Ground Straps on My Builds, light's to body, body to frame engine to frame ignition ground  to frame, If It can Transfer static or electricty it ends at the frame with a ground.this stems from old english cars with Positive Earth systems.

We Shall Over come, Yea I hear that in my Head,   I do Like Gospel and Mississippi Blues though....Done to the Rocker side,  Ok About the Social side; Are You Kidding Me Snobs in cars that can be Had for 500 bucks, Get Over Your self Is what I would tell them. PRIDE In your Car Is where I stand. I work On some Restored Muscle cars for Larry Kizer, One of the Least Expensive cars he Owns Is a 65 427 Cobra Replica at about 35 Grand and though Not Snobby a bit Presumptus  Don't worry I've told him that! so a car that can be bought Running for 500.00 bucks and Made Perfect for a few Grand is My Style, And hell no It's not expensive so don't act like it, Of course I would own a Lotus Or some thing like that but someone would have to Give it to me, Just Knowing what a Fiero is and How Good they might have Become  is special . the number of Unmolested Fiero's IS dropping Fast, But The Number of them getting Back on the Road is Increasing . Count ME IN.

I've quit more GOOD Jobs than most people can get because of Boss's like that, Therefore I am A broke Old SOB. So onward,  Ya'll Know this is My Second round round Here, Because of this very thing, I got so upset I deleated Everything I could, So I'll Share, We were all Doing "Intro's" and Being "Cute" about Linda's Petitness and someone said she could Protect Herself, Well Bravo for her and I will Protect any and All women folk  from Predators. then when her Husband? threw In A "I'm Armed and Dangerous Remark" It blew my Mind. I wanted Nothing to do with this attiude, I have since been assured it was in Jest and Now Offer any Apoliges that may be needed, and Do look Forward to Being a Part of your Clique' Lol.   So you see It sometimes dosn't take much to alienate a person that dosen't know you. Other than that My wife Say's "I'll talk to anybody that will talk Back".

Yes, but I am just a year of so older than Phil's son.  When I was 12/13 years old Arnie Beswick would Stay in My Neighbors House When he toured "Down South" First with the 62 Catilina, then with the Tempest,It was just a 326 /421 /blower motor /Eng setback/rears Forward /"Tameless Tiger" it took about 3 years for all that. Being a Factory Driver they kept him in GTO's (64 on)( for Super Stock) Kinda Met them all , Landy the Platt bros.Don Nickelson,The Tool Man, Ronnie Sox  Was even at Dallas when Petty wrecked. back then that wasn't Unuseuall  But I was just that Pesky Kid Back then, Now I'm the Old Fart.  And Very Kool for you to get to do the Work on the car, 64 and 5 Falcons and Comets are still My Favorite cars.

Funny I really Like the looks, it needs a GT Nose, Is it for sale or trade , as you can Imagine I Only want the Body and not a thing else. Remember me saying the reason I bought a C4 was I had an itch to front engine a Fiero, I Know.... I know.......     but let me Finish.......... I have an Extra C4 Roller and the difference is 3 inches in wheelbase and 2 in track width, And some new sawzall blades. Oh, Oh, and I am Buying an old Buick 215 to put in the Challenge car( V8 All Aluminum 318 pounds will be lighter than the 3.4  by a good bit).   Please belive I wouldn't do this to something Special I wouldn't.
