Hello All,
work has kept me very busy! but I have not forgotten the Fiero family, I've been doing little things to the car trying to finish the interior, and have been having issues with regular maintenance items chased down a coolant leak that I assumed was a blown head gasket to just needing new radiator caps (long story), and the ever so inconvenient ignition module 2nd one in 100 miles, now I'm collecting everything needed to rebuild the suspension, (rear coil overs) steering components, bushings and sway bars all installed on the new engine cradle (thanks Mike) followed up by a correct aliment this most likely will be completed in the next few months then so not a lot to see from looking at the car but driving it should be a lot better then I can keep up with you guys on the RFTH's

I want to thank all of our Veterans for there service with out you willing to stand up and defend this wonderful country we call home who knows where we would be today. I would proudly stand next to each and everyone of you today and do it all over again. I SALUTE YOU!

The old Fiero Powerhouse building, part of the Fisher Body Plant in Pontiac, will see an implosion on Saturday morning, Nov. 2.

(source a local Michigan newspaper)
The demolition is expected to take place at 8 a.m. with surrounding streets closing or seeing restricted access at 7 a.m. and remaining closed for up to three hours after the implosion.

This building was part of the Fisher Body plant that helped build the Pontiac Fiero the powerhouse was closed in the late 1980's. The property is currently owned by Racer Trust

For all that can help before and after the meeting your help is requested at Northlake Auto the goal is to get the cradle into Mike's car by days end. barring any unforseen incidents I plan to be there at 09:00.

Depending on the day and my work duties I will do my best to be there, having recently performed a clutch swap and 3 bolt cradle removal something might still be fresh in my mind to lend a hand

A great drive with fantastic roads ( thank you Charlie ) no car trouble, we all made it home safely and lunch with friends. I can't wait to go back in September.


Side scoops are off of a Trans Am front fender
the car is best viewed from 50' away hopefully I'll have all the trim back on before the next meeting but it was great to drive it in the twists and turns a first for the car and me.
