The Market / Re: Head gasket

The head bolts are one of the reasons it might of blown the head gasket. when I first rebuilt the motor I made the mistake of not replacing them. I had an old mechanic friend help me do the work.

At one point I could have put a new gasket but the car has been sitting for 5 months to a year. The engine seams to be hydo locked witch if it is what I think one the cylinders are filled with water .2 the newer bearings are probably ruined or pitted. The motor was modded when I bought the car it's been bored 60 over and saposidly has a high lift racing cam might be other things I just put new rings and bearings in it and drove it for six years .
