Tech Tips, Tech Questions / CV Axel replacement

Went to change the oil on my 87 manual transmission GT today when I noticed the boot on the CV axel driver side bad and needs replacing. It looks like it was slinging grease everywhere. Since I have never done this before, how difficult is it to do? Any tips? I have watched the YouTube videos but need an honest opinion. YouTube makes it all look so easy. And what about changing the seal? Thanks

I know this is nothing like what you guys are experiencing but a lifetime ago I worked in Chattanooga and lived on Signal Mountain. Being from southeast Louisiana I wanted to experience a true winter or two with some snow. I loved it on Signal but after spending a long weekend back in New Orleans I returned to my log cabin apartment late on a Sunday night only to find the water in the toilet bowl had frozen solid. I moved back to New Orleans 4 months later!

Big deal down here. Over the past 20 years have been 5 or 6 times. Have never taken the Fiero because usually 3 of us going.
