Also, the Hot Rod Power Tour starts this year in ATL.  Unfortunately, I can’t start the tour until mid-week, but would love to cruise with anyone that wants to run it through Bristol.

Late add from me - I am going to both Fiero’s at Carlisle and the 40th.  Would love to cannonball it with others.

I live in Kentucky.  It was almost an 8 hour drive for us to get there…

Hey all - sorry for my late post, but I wanted to let everyone know I went to Fierorama this past week and when it came to the club participation, I let them know I was part of this club too, so got the participation award for the club to share with you all :)

I talked to Charlie about it, and will be mailing the award to him so he can bring to the club events.  It was a great event, with a cool cruise on Saturday that ended in Roscoe, Ill at another car show :) and the Historic Auto Attractions museum.  On Sunday, we ended up with 51 cars for Fierorama despite the rain which was pretty heavy at times. We also, through the course of fund raising, were able to donate over $1000 to the Gary Sinise Foundation.

Enjoy the pics!!!

I replied to your PFF notice.  Jayson and I are at the Quality Inn  on Austin Peavy.  That moved it within about 15 minutes of us.

Any Idea why they moved it?  Nothing around there as far as activities.

Apparently the Memphis Motor Speedway was sold and the sale is effective the end of May.  From what I gather the new owners do not plan to continue to operate it as a track and will probably demo it :(

They just changed the starting location for the HRPT for anyone that’s interested to Liberty Park, Memphis.

I won’t be able to make it this year…my daughter picked the 25th to get married and I am not sure me missing for this event would endear me much in her eyes :)

Thanks Charlie!  I would love to cruise with anyone that wants as it will be just my son and I.

Just saw this!  I am long hauling this year, and would love to ride caravan with anyone going.  Also was hoping to catch up with the club on the Atlanta stop.

Hey all -

So they announced the HRPT for 2022 which starts in Millington TN and ends at the Atlanta Motor Speedway (June 13th-17th).  My son and I plan to take our 85 GT and long haul it this year.  Would anyone in this group like to try to meet along the way or even meet up at the Atlanta Motor Speedway the afternoon of the 17th?  Registration hasn't started yet, however I have already booked my hotel as they are getting scarfed up.  Would love to see some of you - even if many just attended the Friday event and we meet somewhere and then rode in together.

I am coming back from a work meeting in Phoenix on that Friday evening, so if I come down I have to leave super early Saturday morning from Corbin to get there in time for the driver meeting (4 hour drive).  Let me see what I can work out!

I use Hagerty on my two Fieros (85 and 86 GTs) and my Z3 (01).  I pay $130 per month for stated value on all three, comprehensive and collision, and zero deductible.  Admitted thats not for every day driving, but I drive my 85 GT a lot.

Just catching up on this!  Looking forward to it!  My son and I can definitely make it.  Clayton is a good starting point that makes it not too bad of a drive to get there (just under 4 hours from Corbin).

How many did we have for the 25th, does anyone know off hand?

Paul's has the 7730 with digital EGR.  If it was like mine, appearing factory with the stock EGR, they will allow it as stock.

I'm retired, too, but my Fiero is my go-to vehicle any time I go somewhere that doesn't require the truck.  It might not be driven in a week but it's still my daily driver.

I'm planning on bribing the judges with Georgia peaches to put me in the least competitive class.  Pecans if I get a trophy.

My exterior looks stock.  Interior-wise the radio is obviously different.

I've got a working UT4 (not the cassette though) that I can bring for you to install for the show LOL!!!!

Mine falls under modified...

I have reservations for my son and I at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Carlisle.

Looks like Eric and I are leaving on Wednesday around lunch and driving to Roanoke to stay the night (about 5 hours).  Then we can get up in the morning Thursday, have breakfast, and take our time heading into Carlisle which would be about 4 and half hours from there.
