Same here....weather permitting, I'm in.  Weather.com says it doesn't look good...but it is still early.

OK....we have to re-register the convertible before we can drive it.  Just found out today that we WILL need to get it inspected again first.  So...tomorrow I will dig into the windshield wipe wiring and see if I can get them working so that we can get it inspected.  My fear of rain has been because of the windshield wipers...not the convertible top.  So if I can get it inspected, I will take the chance on rain and be there.

Our forecasters say there's a threat of the spotty thunderstorms every day for the next week.

I have a leaky heater core and I'm debating on taking the truck instead.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I'm in.  As you can see from my post in tech tips, the wipers aren't truly resolved...but should be by the weekend.  And they are good enough for inspection tomorrow morning (fellow NC Fiero enthusiast, La Fiera, will be inspecting it).

The weather for yesterday's trial run turned out to be quite good -- only a little light rain after lunch. Here, grandson Joseph tries to smile in it (at 4480 feet altitude).

Below is the silver GT Fierofool mentioned in this thread.

Some pictures from the south end of the Dragon below...

I'm glad that everyone had a good time!
I missed it because Tammy and I celebrated our 14th anniversary this weekend. (Even though we actually got married in April, this was the first weekend that we and our friends (who we always celebrate anniversaries with - ours and theirs) had free.
This has been in the works for a while. (I knew there was something, Charlie. Just couldn't remember, last weekend, what it was. :D )

I filmed Don's entire run on the Dragon.  The black Fiero mentioned is seen in the video, along with the motorcycle accident activity.

The other Fiero is at 9:30, the accident is at 11:30.

US129Photos.com has our cars starting on page 18 here. Killboy.com doesn't have the Saturday pictures up yet.

I found more online pictures of our cars, on moonshinephoto.com, on page 19 (the link may not come up to that page). Still waiting for Killboy.

Had some boo-boo's on the Dragon on the last trial run...
The first boo-boo is mine. I got something in my eye, and spun out on a curve. It all worked out OK, though.
The second boo-boo is not mine, and is self-explanatory.
