The way I clean mine is remove the fuel rail from the engine and sit it on a wooden work bench. With the injectors still installed in the fuel rail and the wiring harness still attached, I take a booster pack and clamp it to 2 jumper wires. Then I fill the fuel rail with carb. cleaner from a spray can. It works best if you fill it and let it soak for atleast an hour. Then find the color of wire going to the injectors. With the jumper wires hold one to one wire and just tap the other to the other wire. Don't hold it on the second wire or you'll burn the injector coil up, just keep tapping it. Now this is why you need to do this on a wooden work bench, you should be able to see wet spots under the tips of the injectors. You'll probably have to let them soak some more if it doesn't work the first time. You should be able to connect to wires to fire one side then the other. After cleaning and with all injectors clean reinstall the fuel rail with the remaining cleaner still in the rail. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes before driving.
