I need help!!! wont start.

I have a 87 4 cylinder,  I put a new fuel pump, new starter, new battery, new relays, new clutch....everything. At first everytjing was running fine. But when I turned my car off, light smoke came out of my vents. When I tried to restart the car, the starter wont turn over. About 30 mins later after trying to figure the starter problem out, my fuel pump wont turn on now. Im completly confused at this point.

You didn't mention fuses -- did you check them? Also, what did the smoke smell like? Leaves can get on the heater control resistors and burn, causing smoke.

Sorry. Yeah all the fuses are fine. At least the ones on the panel near the drivers feet. I dont know if there is another box anywhere else. But the smoke smelled like leaves and twigs. So hopfully thats all it was. But im still stumped.

Check the Fusible Links near the connector box between the battery and the RR strut tower.

Ok. Funny story. I kinda broke that. And its rigged up. The problem is, is everything runs all the time contantly. So i have to unplug the battery terminal whenever the car isnt running. (When it did run). I have a feeling it might be that piece but I didnt know what it was and how I can get a new one.

If it's rigged, it might've burnt out one of the circuits in the ECM.
Had the same issue once with our 4banger.
