another question...about jacks
« on: November 03, 2009, 11:17:02 pm »
Does the 88 have a different jack than the rest?
I had a flat this weekend. I messed up the skirting of my car trying to jack up the car.
I placed it where I the instructions say but, it wasn't right.
The jack I have, may have came out of my 84.

I don't know, but I can tell you by Wednesday afternoon.  I'm picking up the 88  about 10 am.

BTW, Meagan's grandfather got her brakes working.  Well, at least the front ones.  They blocked off the rear brakes.

I've got 2 88's and 3 84's at the shop I'll check it today and post pix of each. But I think their the same.

Just picked up the 88 and I looked at the jack.  I don't see any difference.

None of the 84's had a jack. If all the chassis are interchangeable then the jacks will be the same.
