I have done this swap and it is ok with the 7/8 inch. sway bar, but you will find it is a tight fit if you change to a 1inch sway bar. You must mount the box a high as is possible to not hit the bar. You will have to move your brake line down also . This is pertaining to 84-67 cars only, as the 88s have a 1.8 inch bar up front and I have not tried this swap on an 88.
