Hello everyone my name is Iain Nicholson.  New to the forum and proud owner of a 87 fastback Gt with 75000 miles, and 2 parts cars. I picked up the 87 a few months ago out of Fla, towed it home and got to work. After chasing off the electrical gremlins, rebuilding the distributor, adding a shiney new starter and alternator the car will now start but not idle. Am going to change the iac over to the 88 model, set the timing and hope that fixes the problem.

Once the engine is running like it should I will rebuild the suspension, and breaks, add new wheels and tires and send both the car, and delaminated tail lights off for paint.

You're VERY close to Redraif and I.  We're in Hampton, about 5 minutes from Atlanta Motor Speedway :).  Hope to meet you soon, although I don't know that we will make it to the club meeting this weekend.  We have contractors working at our house and were informed yesterday that they will be working this weekend and will likely need us there.  If we don't meet you this time, hopefully next time!
