Club board and officers

Allright club members, its that time again to pick the board members and who you would like to run for club officers. This will be the hot topics at the next 2 meetings. So get your thinking caps on and come to the meetings to nominate those who you think will keep the club going strong and in the direction we need to go .

I'll join in.

I think this needs to be moved to Club News so non-members can see it, too.  If others are like I am, when I check out the forum, I don't sign in.  I look for new postings and once I read them, if I have anything to say, then I log in.  I never see this section or know it's here unless I'm logged in.

At the end of today's meeting, there were 5 candidates for Board of Directors.  You can still enter for a position prior to midnight November 13.  Board members will be elected on November 14 at our regularly scheduled meeting.

May I suggest that the meeting time be moved up to 1200 so that we are not so crowded with the other scheduled show at 1300?

A bump to keep this fresh in everyone's mind.  The November 14 meeting has been moved up to 12 Noon because another group has scheduled a car show to begin at 1PM.  If we don't get there early, we won't be able to get our tables where we usually hold our meetings.  And there would probably be many more patrons at The Galaxy with much more noise and interruption.

At today's monthly meeting and Christmas Party, the above persons were officially elected to become the 2016 Board of Directors.  They will take office at the January meeting.
