Ebay
« on: February 01, 2019, 06:11:22 pm »
I went to make a purchase on ebay, but was not allowed to do so, because it wanted me to sign up for ebay's own payment system.  I refuse to do so.  I did find other merchants allow me to purchase through paypal.

The merchant insisted that this is an ebay thing.  I contacted ebay and confirmed this.  Bye, bye, ebay.

Curious, because Ebay owns Paypal (or vice versa -- can't remember which).
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

eBay and paypoop split a few years ago.  Ebay is now shutting out paypoop and attempting to force in its new system.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/business-42905465

Yep.  Such a shame.
