Subwoofer
« on: June 17, 2018, 09:04:34 am »
I forget the name for it, but the box that contains my subwoofer sortof bulges on the sides, like a battery that's swelling.  Anyone else have this issue?

If you find you need to replace it, Richard Chen has one that he removed from his ultra-low mileage Formula.  He doesn't plan to reinstall it.  Probably for sale.

Mine works.  I just wonder if this is abnormal for the enclosure to do this.

Somehow, I thought Richard had a silver GT.

White 86 GT and a beautiful red 5-speed formula.

It’s up under the dash isn’t it?  I don’t think the swelling will matter, as long as the speaker gasket can still seal and cracks aren’t forming.

Sortof under the dash, yes.  I can see it there, next to the under-dash courtesy light on the right side.
