Which hand do you primarily use on the steering wheel?

Both my Fieros are manual and the truck is an automatic.  Unless I'm shifting gears, both hands are on the steering wheel full time, but I guess because the right hand is shifting, the primary hand on the steering wheel would be my left hand.

My right hand is sometimes on the wheel, but usually not.  I thought it was maybe because I learned on a manual transmission.  Apparently not.
