Not coming to the run?  If you are, can you bring that "broken" side mirror?

I should roll in around 8:00 pm Friday.  See you there!

I'll send it with my uncle Darrell and Janice. They'll be driving an 86 GT red with faded paint. Charlie knows them.

I wish I could have joined everyone but I've got way to much work to do. If I can get away tomorrow I'll drive to Robbinsville and meet everybody for lunch, if not I'll see you when you get back.

Twenty two cars made the complete run.  Ken Wheeler of Wheeler Performance Cycles in Robbinsville joined us at Fontana Dam and drove part way with us.  Ronnie and Carolyn rejoined us in their Miata, and we had a Trans Am, a Firebird Formula, and a Lotus Elise mixed into the pack.

Most of us drove up to Franklin on Friday, traveling in the rain.  It was still raining Friday night when we went to bed.  Saturday morning the roads were still a little wet in spots, but drying out.  We even found sun along the way.  Then we ran through a little shower as we finished up the last 25 miles, and then it was clear sailing all the way back.

Then the rain set in again Saturday night.  Seven of us drove back to Atlanta together on Sunday, sometimes in rain that was so heavy we couldn't see from the front car to the rear car, but we made it back safely.

I appreciate you guys letting me tag along.  I learned a lot and had a great time, and learned a lot driving with you guys.  I've got some pictures and some very shaky video from the first run down the dragon that I'll be uploading to flickr and youtube.
