TopNotch may be able to answer that.  He's the local L4 Guru.  But now, Raydar has one, too.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

By the way ... does the 88 L4 have a tach filter?

Good question. I've never seen one, but then I've only given it a cursory inspection. I'll try to have a look-see.

On the 87 and 88 4-banger, the tach is driven by the ECM.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

Thank you! Glad I didn’t buy the recommended tach filter. 😂

When you buy the Tach board on West Coast it recommends the tach filter too. But I was cheap and figured just buy the board first.

I would call and ask where the tach filter connects.  It may just be an oversight.  I have done that.  Sometimes, they forget, just need to make the update to the web site.  TFS has corrected several things after I mentioned inconsistencies.

I just may have one for you, if you are a paying member.

I made a payment so I assume I’m a paying member 😂

Cool. I couldn't make the Oct. meeting. Maybe November?
You can't fix stupid but, you can adjust it with a 2x4.
