EGR Solenoid Bracket Bolt
« on: October 07, 2020, 06:12:47 pm »
Does anyone know where to get tla replacement for the 15mm solenoid bracket? Or possibly the dimensions to pick up a close match? The head broke off of mine. Any help is appreciated.

Are you close to Cumming, Ga?  Scott has a scrap motor that still has the solenoid bracket bolted to it.  Maybe you could get him to meet you at the shop or pick it up at his home.  He's trying to get rid of the motor.  Most stuff on it has been free.  I take it this is the bolt that goes into the block.  The upper bolt is a smaller sheet metal screw.  Maybe 13mm head.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Chances are it is an m6 or an m8 bolt. Available at any hardware store
