86 SE for parts (one dollar?)
« on: January 05, 2022, 03:03:02 pm »
There's a 1986 SE listed on Facebook marketplace. The ad says "Parts", and the old price is crossed through, and replaced with $1.
I guess he wants it gone. See it here. It's in Flowery Branch.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

That's JayDog's 86 that rolled away and hit the tree.  I've got dibs on the soft vinyl parts in the interior.  $1 is commonly used when there's a number of parts at various prices.

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

$1, $1234, $999.... I admit all of those got me at some point or the other when online lists and marketplaces started.. I was so excited, I put down what I was currently doing, scramble to find my phone, call the guy and then have an awkward convo lol :D
