Been a while since I've been to Monroe but, as I recall, it's really nice there.
But then, I'm probably almost 100 miles from there (almost in Alabama) so I'll leave it to others to jump in and comment.
The area looks really nice, too. Lots of land around each home.
Edit - I didn't realize it was newly built. For the kind of money that they're asking for that property, it really should be very nice.
You can likely find something decent for 1/2 to 2/3 of that price. Won't be that "pretty" though.
