RUN FOR THE HILLS # 29 PICS
« on: October 27, 2024, 06:47:12 pm »

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Who drove the red 88? Was the Mini or the SUV part of the festivities?

The 88GT was a couple from Chesnee, SC.

The Mini was part of the festivities but the SUV wasn't.

Thanks. That certainly clears it up.

I know the folks from Chesnee. At least John.

Yes, he said he had hoped to meet you.  They are very enjoyable and enthusiastic Fiero people.

This year it was just R N For The Hills.  U were missing.

I've met John before, at one of the swap meets. Obviously it's been a while. He probably does not remember.
He always has been enthusiastic. I can't say that I've ever met his Mrs.
I hope to make it next year. I'm just now feeling energetic enough to do stuff around here.

The surgery kicked my butt. (I go to a massage therapist, occasionally. Last week was my first time back, since mid-summer. When I told her that they didn't accurately describe the recovery period/process, she said, "Well of course they didn't. They didn't want to scare you off. They always minimize it." Lesson learned.)
