The Walter Mitty Classic
« on: April 04, 2010, 02:41:39 pm »
I got this from Andy Reid of Classic Motorsports:

hey guys, this is Andy Reid at Classic Motorsports and Grassroots Motorsports magazines.  This years Mitty is from 4/29-5/2. There is info at http://www.themitty.com
If the club is interested in attending in mass I can give you a free car corral and tent as long as you guys have 15 cars show up for the event. In addition, and this is in no way a slam against the Fiero as I really think they are cool and owned a GT, the sunday of the event is the first east coast Concours d' Lemons, a concours for misunderstood, under appreciated or just plain weird cars of all kinds. The judges this year are Pete Brock, of BRE fame, Bill Warner, founder of the Amelia Island concours and our publisher Tim Suddard. More info is at http://www.concoursdlemons.com/index.html.
If you are interested in any and all of the events great. Let me know if you have a bunch of cars coming and I will assign your parking area and tent.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Andy

I plan to attend. Unfortunately I don't have a Fiero anymore so I'll be hanging around the Italian Car Corral.

Last year Nissan brought out an R390 GT. Theres always quite a few Superformance Cobras, Ariel Atoms, Ford GT's (even the original 1960's ones), etc.
