Thought I heard my name...

The Northstar is one of the more complicated swaps that you can attempt. You need to know how to weld and fabricate.
The cradle will need to be extensively modified. (Like removing 2/3 of the cradle's front crossmember and moving it forward. And that's one of the *minor* things that needs doing.)
The Northstar PCM is pretty much not tuneable. One of the guys on Pennocks devised a tune that will allow the Northstar to run on a 7730 PCM, but the last I heard it still needed work.
Whodeanie (who has done numerous 3800SC swaps and has an LSx swap on the drawing board) won't even
consider doing a Northstar swap. He won't do 4.9s either, but that's a whole 'nother story.
