Today I replaced the pads and rotors on my 88. The pads I used are Napa TruStop pads -- not because of any thing I had heard about them, but because they were the only 88 pads that anybody had in stock. But the car stops real nice with them -- it takes less foot pressure than before. They're actually the cheapest ones Napa carries, and are made in China, but who cares if they work? They would have had to special-order any other pads, and other parts stores would have had to special-order also.
