Isn't it ironic that you always have the wildfires in the summer time instead of winter when you could really use the extra heat?
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I know Australia is referred to as 'Down Under' but with temperatures like that it sounds more like the 'Underworld'.

Hey Fiero 128;
We had that old discussion at a get together tonight.  Go flush your toilet and let us know wether the water swirls clockwise or counter clockwise.
I am sure you hear the same thing over there, that it swirls opposite to what it does here.
Thanks;
Harry

Water draining from a sink spins clockwise.  Same for water in a commode.  That's how ships know when they've crossed the equator.  The water stops spinning in one direction and goes in the other.  The Navy gives a certificate to seamen who are aboard a vessel as it cross the equator.

Tornadoes, hurricanes and typhoons also spin clockwise.  For that reason, these storms never cross from one hemisphere to the other.

Because things that spin work backwards in the Southern Hemisphere as opposed to the Northern Hemisphere is the reason no nation in the Southern Hemisphere has developed a nuclear bomb.  They have their centrifuges running backward.  :D

The direction it spins is irrelevant compared to the vertical direction of motion.
A straight flush ALWAYS beats a full house!
