thanks. ogre on another site for responding to my question.  his response lead me here http://fierocave.home.comcast.net/%7Efierocave/scanit.htm .  from this, i learned to look at both int and blm #s.  int is around 140 and blm is pegged at 120.  so, looks like there is a problem.  I'm not sure where the numbers are pointing, but i know they're off.  any suggestions?
no codes are set.

Raydar does some chip burning and adjusting codes, so he may be able to give some advice.  With this ice storm, he's probably down in the dungeon at Georgia Power, monitoring the grid.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
