Let's talk tires. I just picked up a set of 16 x 7 wheels, what size can tires can I run with these?

Do you know what the offset is?  If they have the size and width on the rim, they will probably have the offset, too.  Stock GT height on front is 24 Inches and 24.5 inches on the rear.  There's still plenty of room to go higher, but it might cause problems on turning.

Tire Rack recommends 205-55R16.  That would probably be with standard offset.

I have no idea what the offset is...... whatever GM made them, they're Beretta wheels.....

That is the size that was on the wheels, I didn't know if I should go a little wider or not.

 Best info I can find is that Beretta had a 42mm offset.  That was for the lace style 15 inch we saw.  Being front wheel drive, it would be set a little inward as opposed to a Fiero.  It could give extra clearance on the lip of the fender but cause the inside of the front tire to scrub on a full lock turn.
