Ixm glad you're getting to spend this quality time with her, and she probably treasures this time with you, also.

I delivered the potted Gardenia from the club to Paul today.  We had a good visit for an hour or so.  He seems to be doing well.  Issued an invitation for him to join us again and he seemed very open to it.  Hope we get to see him at the January meeting.

He asked me to express his thanks for the club's condolences and for the flowers.

I was just going to ask about that.

I guess he won't be able to drive his GT to such a meeting.

The GT still needs some assembly.  He has had the cradle out and the rear wheels are seriously out of alignment.  The rear fascia is off and the front fascia is partially detached around the fender well area.  It was covered but he lifted the cover enough to show me a little of the car and the beautiful shiny red paint job.

Those are all easy things to fix.

Even with a cover, the paint will get wear from dirt, eventually.

Georgia Fieros received a Thank You card from Paul.  It reads:  Your thoughtfulness meant so much.

The handwritten message reads:
To the Members of Ga. Fiero Club.  Thank you for the beautiful Gardenia plant which you sent over via Charlie Sewell.  I am overwhelmed with your thoughtfulness.  Losing my wife of 49 years has been tough.  I will be planting the Gardenia where I can walk by it daily; it will bring warm thoughts of both your kindness and of my dear wife.

Thank you for such a lovely condolence.
Paul McKibben

Paul's communications are always so positive.  I enjoy reading them.

Paul has always been very kind to me.  He made me custom sails from a vague description and they are magic.

I'm very glad that the club did something so thoughtful for him.  Thank you.
