WTB: Rubber Water Dam
« on: July 12, 2018, 04:36:38 pm »
I need the rubber water dam that goes on the left side of the front compartment.  It's located on the body, under the upper left corner of the front compartment lid.  It's about 12 inches long, has a slight bend near the front end, and slips over a raised flange on the body.  It's used to direct water down along the channel that runs between the front compartment seal and the top of the fender.

If you have one and are coming to the meeting on July 14, bring it, please.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

You could always stop by my house and take one out of the "parts car".

Can you pull the left one and bring it to the meeting?

I will try to get the left on. By left, you mean driver's side, correct?
I'm not exactly sure what the water dam looks like. Is it easily recognizable?

It's very visible.  That may not be what it's called, but that's what it does.

For future reference, when you get it, please post a picture.

Oh.  For some reason, I was thinking under the car.  TFS  calls them cowl seals.
