A decade or so ago, there were enough  complaints about that so it was actually reworked.  Headed north on I-85, first sight of it was at a distance and it had a very distinct appearance and that wasn't of a peach.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

No, that awesome sight is between Spartanburg SC and Gastonia NC,  we didnt go that far up 85

SC does produce a lot of peaches in that area, though.   Ga. is the Peach State but our major crop is peanuts.

Peanuts!?

Hmmm.  I do not recall seeing a single thing for peanuts.  Pecans, yes.  Peaches, yes.  But no peanuts.
