It was actually that the base went forward.  I think that with a combination of an extended windshield and extending the flying buttresses further toward the tail lights, one might get a much more low profile appearance.

Looking at it when it was with Mike the base came out.

Still would like to know who has it now. I really am interested in the wheels.

Which car are you speaking of?  The gray one or Kermit?  Dean built the gray one and was in the process of duplicating it on Kermit.

How does the base move out?  Is the depth of the cowl area decreased?

Yes, the cowl area is modified in some manner.  I think the front deck lid has to be modified, too.
