Corvette front on a Fiero

This is an intriguing idea.  Apparently, someone already did it.  Such a change would significantly upgrade the performance potential of the Fiero, but my concern is matching rear brakes and suspension.  Don't they need to be similarly enhanced?

I should mention that it was just the rack, brakes, suspension, bearings, control arms, and probably a crossmember from the Corvette.
