Question for the hive: are the mounting brackets the same between the Isuzu and Getrag 5 speeds? Parts car has a broken Isuzu and I have a Getrag with no mounting brackets. Sure would be nice to have a 5 speed in the 86

Each trans has it's own brackets. Mike had to buy new Getrag brackets when changing from the Isuzu.
BTW, Harry said it was the clutch, not the trans that broke.
