Would you post a picture of this collar?

I managed to get it off and transferred to the new alternator.  Now, if they don't catch the pulley swap when I return the defective one.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I was somewhat getting over my injury with the sciatica being gone.  Then I jacked up the car, crawled up into the trunk to remove the pivot bolt on the alternator.  Spent the rest of the day and night in the recliner.  My brother came out and finished the job of removing it.

It's raining a little off and on, today.  Tomorrow and Tuesday are to be good days and my brother says he'll install the new one.

Sorry the sciatica is still slowing you down.

Not that anyone else has expressed interest, but do you think you'll be able to drive, next weekend?

I'm walking well as of now.  I'll be able to drive unless I do something else between now and then.
