Has anyone ever seen this car, or T-tops like this?
« on: January 13, 2022, 06:47:25 am »
A bit of a unicorn. Check out the T-top glass. Extends all the way back to the rear clip. No filler panels.
No. I don't know where it is now. Someone sold this on Pennocks ~12 years ago. Just stumbled across the pictures that I had saved.
I have only ever (maybe) seen one other Fiero with this style of tops.

Does the glass have any kind of logo etched into it. Normal ones will have the C&C logo.

Those photos were taken in either 2010 or 2011.  How do the seals of this car compare to the seals of the common C&C T-top cars?  Could these be from a Firebird or Camaro?  I think some have reported installing those on a Fiero but there was a size difference.  I don't know if it was length or width difference.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Someone started a thread on Pennocks, about these.
The only suggestion I saw for something that could be re-purposed for the Fiero was a Fox Body Mustang.
I don't see any way that could work. IIRC, the edges of the Mustang roof are squared off above the windows, as opposed to the gentle curve of the Fiero.
The seals seemed to be very similar to the ones we are familiar with. They still go around the opening in the frame.

Edit - They guy that was selling the car, years ago, said that the C&C logo was on the panels.
