Blower not working
« on: June 14, 2010, 08:24:26 pm »
I'm hoping to attend the poker run with my wife, but I'd really like to enjoy the a/c when things get hot. the a/c is charged, but the blower wont blow except once in a blue moon. when i first got the car, i could remove and reinsert the fuse and it would start blowing. now that dosent work. I'm not sure if its the motor or the controls that are malfunctoning, and with my scheduale, i dont have alot of time tear into the car. anyone else experiance this problem?

The blower motor is easily accessible from the front of the car on the passenger side near the AC accumulator. You can take it out and bench test it with a battery charger. Since it's a common GM part, you should be able to get a replacement at a parts store.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.
