My father sent me a email with all kinds of pictures in it showing the advances.
Then this one caught my eye.

Mel's Grand Prix window regulators on the drivers side both broke on the same day and the windows dropped down into the door.  At the time, the regulators were several hundred dollars each.  I used a divider from an aluminum tool case to wedge between the window and door panel.  They were just thin pieces of wood wrapped with foam rubber.  In the middle of winter, even redneck technology is welcome.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
