Hey man good luck with getting it running.  You are so close to getting it I can feel it. It would be a shame to sell it now. Wish you were in Atlanta or closer I would take you up on it but it is just too damn far for me.  all the best...peace

Tell me about it. I double checked timing and spark when I got off the phone with you and all was good. Just doesn't make sense. I did notice that there isn't a vacuum line connected to the cannister by the air filter housing.though.

Matt, the vacuum line for that canister attaches to the steel lines that run along the trunk wall.  On the passenger side near the dogbone, it transitions to 2 rubber lines.  They have a common rubber connector that connects to 2 hard plastic lines at the MAP sensor, then they pass underneath the back runners of the intake, in the area of the cold start and fan switches.

The hose coming off the top nipple of the canister is a vacuum that connects underneath the intake right where the metal neck transitions into the main part of the intake.  It's kinda behind the distributor.  The lower right nipple is the one that pulls the vapors from the fuel tank.

You should have a vacuum line diagram on your decklid unless it's been painted over or removed.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

the diagram is there. I no longer have those lines that run along the trunk wall. Evap delete was part of the 7730 tune. So i guess that isn't a problem either.
