I've driven a Supra.  The old Supra from the 70's or 80's.  It ain't no slouch.  I think it had an inline 6.

The new ones can outdo many late model muscle cars.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I raced a '94 Supra.  I think it was 6 liters.  Somewhere, I saw that year was a 2.4L, though.  It was noisy.  Very noisy.  It was not fast.  My Firehawk outran the Supra.

Toyota partnered with BMW to learn how to build a better vehicle.  The partnership developed the new Supra.

Wreck It Ralph went down to look at Duchess.  I never managed to get down there due to the back injury and other constraints.

I believe he said that David wasn't willing to sell the GT that belonged to the son.

So, what condition was the Phoenix in? Worth shipping to Germany?

Probably best to get it running here, before shipping it.

Hmmm........
Thanks for the info Ralph.
But how rough is rough?
Starting to wonder if it would be worth surprising Anne with the car.

Well I’ve seen worse for sure. If it was the year and style I wanted then I’d buy it. Just don’t expect perfection and it doesn’t run right now.

Probably need to get more details and some pics.

Of course, if Donster could see in person...

Been sitting in a yard under a tree for 5 + years I believe. When it was parked it was not starting. Turned over but would not fire off. Dash cracks, console warped, seats need covers. I didn’t take photos but it’s not far if you want me to sometime next week. Assuming it’s still there.
