Atlanta Motorsports Parkway
« on: March 13, 2012, 11:08:10 am »
The owner/founder Don Burns of the AMP just posted some interesting news on his facebook page:
Volunteers that come and stack six-packs (six stacks of six tires each, used for bumpers etc.) receive one free track day.
Stack 2, get 2 days free,  and so on. I will be reaching out to Don in the next day or two regarding business, but will also see if we as a club can get involved.
I'm trying to set up an appointment for early next week to go out there with one of my sales engineers. I'll update this thread after I have met with him.

Ooo,Ooo,Ooo...  I'm in. That is if I can get a ride there or tags on my car before the day that we need to be there. Please keep us updated on this.
I wonder when the track will be open? I need to do a lot of work on one of my cars to make it track worthy.

Maybe you can get it running before the track is ready.
I'm going to check with at least two friends that I know will want to make it if at all possible.

Nope, I'm trying to get him to do business with my company. The rack and stack deal is a by-product I found out about while dealing with AMP, so I also want our club to get involved, but those are two different issues.
Business first, pleasure second ;D
