Just like the title says. I'm looking for a pair of 84-87 front springs that haven't been cut.
Also interested in a rear coil-over kit.

I have a set of stock WS6 front springs from an 86 SE for you.  I have them here at the meeting right now.  I will find someone here that can help get them your way.

My friend has the sleeves for coilovers. He's decided not to build his Fiero; married now & has a house. I'm sure he'd take $25 for them (I think that's what we paid each - we split an ebay buy). Call me & I'll go into more detail.

Sorry Paul. Didn't mean  to ignore you.
I'm not sure I'm going to go with the coilovers, just yet. May go in a different direction.
If I decide to, I'll give you a shout.

Thanks!

I found a pair from an 86GT.  They're already out of the car.  He'll be posting soon.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Good.  Lee called me yesterday to see if he'd ever delivered them.  Said Tom had been working downtown mostly and hadn't had the time to get them to me.  I told him about how you two both worked close to one another.

When you going to let us in on your new project?  How about a redesign-it, rebuild-it thread?

Got 'em yesterday. Thanks for the hook-up!

Not a lot of science to the project.
It's based on the premise that the earlier WS6 front springs are stiffer than the 88 front springs, and also that the 88 front springs are stiffer than the 88 rear springs.
That said, I'm replacing my fronts, with the earlier fronts. (I understand that I will probably have to cut them to provide the correct ride height.)
And I'm replacing my rears with the 88 fronts. (Again, they'll probably have to be cut. Fortunately, I have a pair of uncut fronts as well as the cut ones that are currently under the front of the car.) I'll have to come up with something to keep the top of the spring centered on the shock, but it shouldn't be too complicated.
Along with all of this, I'm installing poly on the front of the car, and fieroguru's camber correction kit on the rear. (Under compression, the 88 rear wheels tend to lean outward at the top. This kit causes the wheel to lean in, or at least remain more upright, under compression.)
Of course, the shocks and struts will be replaced. I chose Monroes, because they were the only brand that nobody said they hated. :D

This all started when I decided that I probably needed an alignment to correct a pull to the left under hard braking.
One thing led to another, and here I am. And I still have to correct the pull. I'm pretty sure it's NOT alignment.
