Melanie and I will bring a pot of BBQ beans and buns and a couple of 12-packs of soda.  1 regular and 1 Coke and Fanta Orange Zero.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Shannon, do you want me to bring the big canopy?

Pat, don't forget to bring along the club banner, too.

Everyone remember to bring chairs to sit in.

Mrs. '70 Chevelle and I just got invited to the wedding of some dear friends of ours on, you guessed it, the afternoon of Saturday, June 8.

So, we won't be able to attend this year's club picnic, but you are welcome to borrow our 10'x10' canopy tent and two caponied chairs if someone wants to swing by and pick them up.

Best,

FGTB

it is possible but rather unlikely that i will be able to attend this year as i have a prior commitment that sunday, to play at a memorial jam session for a fellow musician that died this time last year and the 8 hour round trip drive takes a lot out of me for the next day, and thats one of those times i want to be on my A game. im sure you understand. i will just have to play it by ear (pun slightly intended).

We will get the hot dogs, hamburgers and buns for both.  We just need to know how much of each to get.  I will also pick up some various sodas and a couple of things for dessert. Let me know if there is anything else I need to get.

What time should we start?

Remember...we have a grill but aren't good at grilling, so someone else gets that job!

We live on a lake, o feel free to bring fishing poles and bait if you like to fish. My son has caught some pretty big fish off our dock.

Shannon has been really busy, and I know she hasn't had time to get on here much, so feel free to PM me for our address....I have nothing to do but lay here on the computer  :).

Blow up dingy, canoe, paddle boat...bring whatever you want!

We have one table, but if someone has a way to get another here, that would be great.  We do also need the canopy.

What time do we want to start?

Welcome, Patty.  Glad to see you finally posting.

Right now, based on who's saying they will be there, looks like it will just be only about 8 people.  Is anyone bringing any chips and dips?  Do we need a cooler for the drinks?  How about ice?

I'm not sure, but we may also bring a crock pot of Mel's Kitchen's famous chili.

Thanks for the welcome!

We have a cooler and will take care of getting the ice.

Somehow I totally missed the thread.   Patty told me about it last night.

Chairs might not be a bad idea.  We have some but depending on the final head count....

We also have chocolate pudding.... lots... lol... if folks might want some we can put some out!
