Computer Temporarily Down
« on: October 31, 2013, 10:25:53 am »
My CPU fan has failed and my computer shuts down to prevent overheating.  New parts will not arrive until sometime late November.  Until I get it repaired, if anyone needs to contact me, you'll need to call my phone at
six 7 ate, fore 6 seven, won 7 fore too or send an email to my wife's email.  I only have occasional use of a laptop, so emails to me will give you a notice from my regular email account.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

What size is the fan?
I may have one laying around.
You can't fix stupid but, you can adjust it with a 2x4.

It's 92mm square x 25mm thick or about 3 9/16 x 15/16.  It's a 3 wire Datech for a Dell 2350 desktop.

The only one I have is 2-3/8" square x 1/2" thick with a 2 wire plug (12VDC). You are welcome to try it if you like.
Have you tried TigerDirect just down the road from me?

Look at this one:
