I would like to know if anyone would like to ride with me up to the Fort Bragg, NC area and share driving with me.  It's going to be about a 12 hour round trip.  I would like to do this on a Wednesday, but a Monday could be an alternate day if Wednesday isn't available to anyone. 

The reason I'm posting here is because the trip is to pick up custom tires and wheels and some other new items for the Warrior Project car.  A Pennocks member has a considerable amount of parts that he wishes to donate to the project.

I'm going to be working this week. Otherwise, i would be happy to help. If i was driving that way, you could tag along in my work truck and save the gas, but I'm not. Let me know if you'd like a cup of coffee and if I'm back from work, I'll buy it for you. Starbucks, exit 199.

I have a neighbor that is going to help out.  Will you be in the store?  I expect to be by there around 9-10.  Just the right place to grab some Krispy Kremes.  I looked up Exit 199 and saw that it's Washington Road.  I'm pretty familiar with that area.  Augusta National and Jones Creek Golf Courses used to be a couple of my customers down there.

Is that 9-10 am? And which day?  There's also a dunkin doughnuts too, but nobody can touch the Krispies. I probably won't be around town then. My calls usually take me to Charlotte, concord, lake Norman areas. Although i might have a local day, just paperwork. If that happens, I'll be around. Pgackerman might could get in on the act if Krispy Kreems and Coffee are involved.

This Wednesday morning.  Dunkin' Donuts are great too, but there's nothing like standing right there and getting a good hot donut that you just saw come through the cooker.  Always look in the display and see what kind of donut has an empty tray and order that.  They'll have to make some. 

Same tactic works with McDonalds.  Order your fries with no salt.  First thing they do when they pull out the fries is cover them with salt.  They'll have to cook a fresh batch.  Then when they hand them to you kindly ask them "Can I have some salt packets, please?" Salt to taste.

Yesterday I made a trip up to Ft. Bragg to pick up some donations from jediperk who is a registered member of the Georgia Fieros forum and PFF.  He has donated a tremendous amount of items to aid the Warrior Project.  Some items are to be sold and some are to go on the car.  The most notable item he donated is a brand new tire package consisting of 4 225/55/16 tires mounted on 4 new Sport Edition Titanium Gunmetal wheels. 

I have to inventory the rest that will be for sale and those items will be posted in The Market or Club Merchandise as soon as everything's cataloged and photographed. 

In the meantime, here is a shot of the wheels.

Are those for sale?  Wow!  I can think of a little 85 silver notchie those Would look great on! Too bad the factory ride is so good, or i would have upgraded a long time ago. Those really catch my eye. Nice wheels.
